ARRIVAL IN ISRAEL
The only airport you should fly to is the Ben Gurion Tel Aviv International Airport (code TLV). Flying to another airport will make things more complicated and expensive for you and it is not recommended.
Please note that in order to arrive in Israel on April 30 2023, you might have to leave your country on April 29 because of the time difference between Israel and your country of departure or because of your itinerary. The important thing is to arrive in Tel Aviv on or before April 30 2023. For example ... there is a difference of 7 hours between New York and Israel. For more details, CLICK HERE.
Remember that on Saturday many services are closed in Israel because of the Sabbath. Things start to slow down during Friday afternoon and many services are closed until Saturday evening after sunset. Local hotel guests usually check out later which means that the chances of your room being ready on time are lower.

TRAVEL INSURANCE (IMPORTANT)
Israel has some of the best hospitals and one of the greatest health care system in the world but it is also very expensive. A simple broken wrist or sprained ankle can be surprisingly expensive to treat. For that reason, every participant should make sure that they are covered by their medical insurance while visiting Israel. Don't wait until the last minute to call your insurance company. You should also have a copy of your insurance documents accessible (paper or electronic). We also strongly recommend that you bring a copy of your prescription if you are taking medication prescribed by a doctor. It will be much easier at the pharmacy should you ever lose or run out of medication during the trip.
